Recruitment Exam Procedures

The recruitment process for BGB civilian positions consists of several stages:

  1. Preliminary Medical Examination
  2. Written Examination
  3. Practical and Viva (Oral) Examination
  4. Final Medical Examination

Selection Process: Candidates will undergo preliminary medical tests, written exams, practical tests, and oral examinations. Final selection is based on the merit list, following the allocated quotas. Selected candidates will be sent to Border Guard Hospital, Dhaka, for further medical tests including HBs Ag, Dope Test, Fasting Sugar, HbA1C, Anti HCV, and Serum Creatinine.

Note: Candidates with positive results in HBsAg or Anti HCV, or abnormal results in other blood tests, will be considered ineligible for final selection.

  2. Original and attested copies of relevant work experience certificates.

  5. Citizenship certificate.
  6. 11 copies of passport-size photographs (1 copy attested by the Chairman).
